So I just got a G20 and I decided to replace the stock 760 with a 980, add an SSD and upgrade the HDD. The GPU was tricky but I managed however, 43904it looks like adding the SSD and replacing the HDD is near impossible. And tips?

Okay. I received my 180 w power brick today. I crack open the computer to remove the GTX 750 and noticed there is no 8 pin to 8 pin power connector. I have one but it's a dual 8 pin to 6/8pin and takes up too much space to install the video card. So now I'm off to try and find a 8 pin to 8pin power connector. Wish me luck.

Thanks for the reply. However that one is male to female. Need 8 pin male to 8 pin male. (My video card only has 1 8pin power connector. 🙂 )

Can anyone please tell me if this is the one I need? It's 8-pin to 7-pin but looks correct.
Thanks!

And my GTX 1080 videos card also only have a 8 pin connector but the GTX 980 had a 8 pin + a 6 pin.

I bought this and it works perfect with Asus G20AJ and GTX 1070. The one you posted doesn't look like it will fit. Double check pin out before you buy it.

Thanks. I ordered that one and should have it by Friday or Saturday I hope. 🙂
Thanks again.

The eight pin connector will work and if you have problems to get the computer to recognize your new GPU you could try and download the GeForce software who sometimes find this new graphic card.Hope it will work out.
