I like my machine a lot, but the power supply fan seems to be extremely loud and I would like to replace it. Unfortunately, from what I can see there might be no way to get the power supply out without tearing the entire machine apart? I see how losing it and it slides back and forth at the bottom, but it does not seem to slide out from anywhere in the bottom.
Has anyone done this fan replacement? Is there a way to get the power supply out without literally disassembling the entire machine?

Apparently it's doable..I just bought a noctua to try the swap myself next week.

Oh, I know it is doable, but can it be done without stripping the machine to the bare frame? It does not slide out the back or the front from what I can see.

Oh goodness. That fan is loud but I don't think it's that loud. I'd replace the sys fan and others while in there. Have to find their sizes in advance.

Let me know if you happen to find an easy solutions. Thx.

Replied on Reddit it too. Youve got to get the MB out to get to the power supply. Not that bad, kinda fun. Now I'm working on controlling the PWM Noctua I put in the power supply with one of the cpu water cooler fan headers.

Have you completed the fan switch out? Did it make a huge difference? I want a really quiet machine. Did you replace other fans as well?

Yes completed the fan switch. Much quieter. But I am also down a rabbit hole now replacing the cpu cooler with a Noctua NH-L9i-17xx chromax.Black instead of the stock unit. Much quieter, very little thermal throttling, but I am working through the best way to control the fan. The Noctua appear to have a min PWM of ~38%. The motherboard drives the stock cpu fans and chassis fans at something less than that. So when I boot, the Noctua doesn't spin, BIOS freaks out, and I have to work around. For now its a fun distraction sitting on my desk but it's quiet now.
