I’m at a loss here…
My ASUS GA15DH PC is only 10 months old and was first used last week. Windows kept freezing totally, meaning I had to hold the power button and force a shutdown. The event viewer always mentioned a “cache hierarchy error” at the time of shutdown. No clue if this is related.
Mistakenly, I thought it’d be a good idea to fiddle with the RAM speed settings and change it to something like 2333mhz, it restarted, but no display. And now I’m stuck on this stage. RGB works, USB receives power, CPU & GPU fans spin, case fan spins, motherboard glows orange as usual…
I have tried reseating RAM, leaving CMOS battery out (and replacing it), shorting the CLRTC pins, but nothing has worked.
Now what?
any help appreciated
