G20AJ Dead?

I've had this Asus ROG G20AJ for probably like 10 years. It was my main gaming PC for a while, then when I upgraded my Daughter claimed it. I'd take it to shows to demo my games (I'm a game developer) and it was always pretty solid, and nice as a fairly portable machine.

A year or so ago my Daughter told me it wasn't booting. She was in luck as my Wife was due an upgrade, so we just swapped PCs, and this was left untouched.

I decided I'd now take a look at it, but I'm thinking it's proper dead. I've tested both power supplies with a multimeter and they both seem to be functioning perfectly fine. When plugged in to the machine, pressing the power button does nothing. No light, no fans, just nothing at all.

I took the PC apart last night (got as far as the DVD tray, couldn't find a driver in my box for that), removed the GTX980. Tried with just the PC PSU, and with both, and no signs of life at all. I'd seen other posts indicating simply having the power adapters connected might show the ethernet lights flashing, but I see nothing at all.

Tonight I'm going to see if I can fully disassmble it and remove it all from the case, then try an alternate power on/off switch.. but the fact that I see no signs of life at all makes me think something is physically broken within the motherboard.

I found a few posts with people having similar issues, but no definitive answer on whether it was fixed. This doesn't seem to be related to the GPU, nor the power adapters.

Anyone maybe have some ideas? Or even have any tech docs for the PC and motherboard for diagnosing issues?
