Hello everyone, I have an asus rog g10dk that has been having some issues with freezing up and occasional reboots.
Has anyone else had any experience with this and may know how to fix it?
I have tried:
- mdsched.exe
- sfc /scannow
- dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
- completed all windows and drivers updates
- removed graphics card (process of elimination at this point)
- installed a used graphics card I had laying around and disable onboard graphics
I also ran chkdsk /r /f and it froze up while running and corrupted the drive. I then booted into WRE and began a reset. It froze again during the installation, so now I have no OS on the NVMe. Won’t even try to boot.
After that, I ran Acronis True Image and cloned another G10DK that I have and it still freezes up. I haven’t tried to remove the NVMe or the backup hard drive yet.
