So I just preformed my final G20(CB) upgrade over the weekend went smooth, although bittersweet.
Obviously it's a Gen 3 PCIe and Gen 5 components are in full production now and I cant stay on a Gen 3 PCIe platform forever.
Went with a 4TB Samsung 990 pro and the latest RAM upgrade supported as well as stripped out the obsolete components, looked into a GPU decided the 1070 still works for what I use it for, at least for the rest of the year since the PSUs don't seem to be upgradeable so All-in-all $400. I have no upgrade path for a Mad Max type mod so I'm accept my G20's EoL/S.
I'm REALLY attached to my case/chassis/moldings for whatever reason and this is the only prebuilt I've ever owned.
I've done many builds before but never to the extent I'm thinking about in wanting to take old case components before.
I didn't want to turn my PC into a Lego set just in case is broke the chassis or molds and be up THE creek.
It appears to be a mATX FF Case but I've never been confident on what to call it nor have I managed to find a starting point for my idea.
I just want to know if the sides & moldings are migratable at the lease, its a beautiful case.
Thanks
