I purchased a G10DK a year ago and returned it because it sounded like a jet engine and was running extremely hot. I’m looking to buy a prebuilt and not modify and I’m between the HP Omen 45L(4070 12gb, 12700K) and a ROG Strix GT15 (3080 10gb, 12700F). Performance wise I know they’re close.
My main question is whether the GT15 case changes fixed a lot of the heating problems or if it’s still coming stock standard with cheap fans that are the problem. It’s almost a 500$ difference for Black Friday in favor of the ROG, but I really would rather not have to return another desktop if the case/build is still a problem.
