ASUS ROG G20CB - Upgrading - will these work ?

hi all, im wanting to upgrade my G20CB

from i7-6700, 16gb ram, and the gtx 970

to

i7-7700k, 32gb corsair vengence ddr4, and gtx 1080 founders edition

i have the dual psu set up and 8 pin connector already with the 970

will the below work out ok ?? what 1080 cards are people using ??






i have seen some people upgrading to the Ti, but if the gtx 1080 will be ok i cannot seem to find what type and model of card people are fitting

the bios is on a lower revision but get error upgrading it that the one downloaded from my registered product page

Hello I'm using a G20CB planning to upgrade the CPU from i7 6700 to i7 7700 and RAM from 21333mhz to 2400Mhz is this will work. Any buddy have try this before.

It's really not worth it. The board can't support anything higher than 2133, and the extra clock speed is negligible.

So guys I have run into a problem with my CB 20 motherboard, unfortunately it is bricked. Original name is h170-p/g20cb/dp_mb but can't find any shops where I can buy it in Sweden or abroad. The other problem is I can't buy (can't find) any other one because of a Asus custom made Ram slots.

So guys is there any other alternative to this one or I need to buy the same one? One more thing I can't find any original ones in Sweden. So I would be grateful if you can send me a link, or point me into right direction 🙂
