Software Conflict After AeroActive Cooler X Pro Update

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with my **ROG Phone 9 Pro** and **AeroActive Cooler X Pro**:

1. After connecting the cooler, it prompted me to install an update.
2. **I noticed two different software options** during the process:
- One for the **AeroActive Cooler X Pro** (my model).
- Another for the **AeroActive Cooler X** (older version).
3. Post-update, the fan **stopped working**, and I received a **"Failed Update"** error.

**Questions:**
- Could this be caused by a software mismatch?
- How can I force the correct update or revert to the previous version?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Same issues here. After the AI firmware update my fan started showing the problems you're describing. Currently running firmware 35.1810.1810.346

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try these steps:

  1. Clear Armoury Crate’s storage and cache.

  2. Unplug and reconnect the fan, sometimes it helps trigger the proper update process.

I’m currently on .346 firmware, and both the Cooler X (8th gen) and Cooler X Pro (9th gen) are working fine on my end.

Here are my version details, hope it helps!
