Hi @all
does someone else have on the 8 Pro that phenomen that at the right phone side, where the buttons are, the back seems to come off?
i use the standard phone case which the phone ships with, and that case is a little bit flimsy at that spot. so i have to look at it multible times a day because its annoying that its not flush. (no biggy, just my OCD)
today while looking at it i noticed that the backside looked loose, and i squeezed it a bit. and for sure i could press the backside closer to the frame. right now its about 1mm distance in the middle, and at the corners there is no gap. the opposite side is fine.
does someone have the same?
cheers

To keep you up to date. Today my phone is going back to the reseller, and they told me they have to send it in and it will take up to 3 weeks. 😕 I took some photos for a later comparison and will share them also here:
It's literally a whole millimeter away.
Take a peek at your phone if you have this too. That's not normal and could/will impact dust/water resistance.
I'll response after getting my phone back.
Cheers

Got my phone back. Looks like they glued it new. Its still to far away but looks closed, at leased for now.
Dunno if the "issue" is the heat the device generates while QI charging. It gets notible warmer then my old P30 Pro.

I can't really help you, sry. If you think it's bad talk to your phone seller if they can do something within warranty.
I use the devilcase now, since it's much more sturdy and prevents the phone from separating. Don't know if it really helps or just calms my mind 😕

I went to service centre authentic today mrng and explained the issue they said it's fine not an issue just some glue came out while manufacturing no need to paste glue and cover it as it's new mobile we don't want to open it and glue..so if battery buldge or anything happens then only it will go large he said.whats ur thoughts on this?
