When it comes to headphones, Bluetooth is what most people are looking for these days, and why wouldn't you? It's convenient, simple and easy, but as a gamer there are a few things to consider.

Bluetooth is a technology that, although great, still has some limitations and these come in the form of audio latency and in some cases even audio quality, you have probably experienced trying to talk to you friends while playing a game and the sound quality seems a bit odd, this is due to Bluetooth using two different modes, one of them is to allow high quality sound but without using the microphone, when using the microphone the quality changes and is no longer the beautiful sound we know, this will continue until you stop using the microphone.

But for most people the biggest problem with gaming on Bluetooth headphones comes from the latency of Bluetooth, this of course depends on what game you are playing, while games like a puzzle game or even listening to music may not be an issue, action or even rhythm games suffer from this and the experience can be made a little worse by adding delay to the audio, rhythm games in most cases let you adjust the sound delay, but what about action games?

This is where the 2.4GHz wireless technology comes in. Some gaming headphones come with a small USB dongle that allows for extremely low-latency audio for gaming, which is great for action and rhythm games.

Introducing the ROG Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova, which uses a USB-C 2.4GHz dongle to deliver fantastic ultra-low latency for a fast and stable connection for mobile gaming and even on your PC! As well as ultra-low latency, you also get up to 46 hours of battery life with the case.

The Cetra TWS SpeedNova has lots of features to make your life easier, such as Hybrid Multipoint, which lets you connect to two devices at the same time, so if you're playing on a console or your PC, you can still receive and answer calls!

Or if you are one to go out and touch grass or get in some some intense gaming sessions, the Cetra TWS SpeedNovas are IPX4, which means they are splash-proof, which gives you more protection even in your sweatiest moments.
