How to update firmware on my phone?

【Release Note】

1. Please back up your data before upgrading to Android 15 and ensure at least 15GB of free space is available.
2. Upgraded system to Android 15.
3. Introduced new ROG UI design, including the Predictive back animation, and Edge to edge display.
4. Revamped Mobile Manager, Contacts, Phone, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, Weather, Sound recorder, Settings, Phone Clone, Launcher, Game Genie, Armoury Crate, Health Connect, and so on.
5. Support the Private space feature: Hide or lock private apps in a separate space, with a dedicated Google account and locking functionality. Detailed options can be adjusted in the Privacy settings.
6. Support Live Caption, Live Transcribe, Sound Notifications, Unknown tracker alerts, Allow WEP networks, and Automatically turn on Bluetooth tomorrow settings.
7. Adjusted the floating window to Android 15 behavior: Tap the three dot menu at the top to open the tool panel, Tap and drag the top area of the window to change the position, Tap and drag the edge of the window to resize the window.
8. Some 3rd-party apps are not compatible with Android 15 yet.
9. Add Circle to Search feature (powered by Google)
10. Updated Android security patch to 2025-02

To enhance security, downgrading to a previous software version will not be possible after this update.

Asphalt Legends Unite is unplayable after the update on ROG 7 Ultimate. Please fix it.

I haven't experienced any issues after updating to A15. As for Asphalt Legends Unite, the game runs smoothly on my end.

Hiya @Thomppss @NovaKnight  , glad to hear. Just want to check you're running A15 on the Rog7 or Rog 7 ultimate? Would also like to confirm if there are no issues on the NFC as I saw some complaining on the NFC failing on the other asus forum. I just wanna check on this as I'm highly dependent on the NFC as well as gaming performance as well when gaming.

yesss, I'm using the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate and have already updated to the A15 .56 version. Gaming performance has been smooth with no issues so far. The NFC function is also working normally.

Hi Tahfiq,

Ever since this update for Android 15 for me at least, this is what I have noticed from my end upon using it until now. Please not that the only games so far that I have tested on for the last 2 weeks up till today are Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero.

i) Based on gaming and normal day uses, I have noticed that the battery drain is more compared to when we were on the final A14 update. 

ii) Upon the completion of the update for day 1, I noticed that the games HSR and zzz stutters abit which after a reboot ran okay until now. Tho I'm still testing it still until today.

iii) As for the NFC, so far I have not come across any issue and it's working like normal

iv) For game genie based on what you have said, unfortunately I have not come across this issue so I'm not sure how or to try and see on the issue that you are facing as the game genie and I can't confirm for virtual joysticks. However I can confirm that the air triggers are working on my end. 

This is all I have for now after 2 weeks on A15 and if I do come across more, I will share my findings with you all. I will also attach below the screenshot of my in game performance for your reference and also game genie below
