Why Im getting the ROG ally instead of the staemdeck in South Africa

I live in South Africa and the steam deak was recently released here at some stores however the base 64gb version costs $800 (R16 000).

However as of me posting this the ROG ally is coming to our country at lunch and will only cost $750 (R15 000)

So to me the ROG Ally is the better console just due to its price and availability in my country.😂
