Current APU power management is really bad. Drivers tries to max CPU power instead of GPU even when real CPU usage is below 10-15%. So 90% of energy is wasted on CPU that done nothing and GPU is starved to death with lowest possible clock. I looks like that:
CPU frequency 3300-3500 Mhz (or higher), real usage 5-10% and
GPU frequency 800-1000 MHz, real usage 99-100%
I understand that you can't fix bad AMD drivers. But you can allow us to disable 4 CPU cores in BIOS. If we disable 4 CPU cores then power usage of CPU will drop 50% and GPU will have much higher clocks on every TDP level. This will give us much better performance in games.
