i want to address that even tho my hands are quite large keyboard input is horrible.
here is where i suggest making a keyboard using button combo's for text input similar to a pad with T9 predictive text by holding a button and sliding the left or right stick the character you need.
very simple mixing left and right controls with a popup keyboard shaped like a square with 9 squares in it.
it would honestly be a very good input methos i coded this for a psp once. it really worked well.
