Whenever I exit from the Steam Remote-Play session streaming client window stays on the screen with the frozen image. It won't go away until I end streaming_client.exe from Task Manager. Changing the streaming Host or Client settings won't affect this.
Remote Play works ok with my laptop and Steam Deck. I am streaming from Windows 11 Desktop. Desktop and Rog Ally have latest updates and Steam is running at the latest stable build.

Exact same issue. I don't see this behavior when hosting from my desktop and streaming via my laptop, but any time I stream via Steam on Rog Ally, I cannot exit the stream content without Steam freezing. The frozen game window and steam app will not close, and the only solution is to end the streaming_client task in task manager or to restart the Ally altogether. I have tried exiting via the in-game options, holding back to access the stream settings power button, quitting the content from the steam big picture menu, or closing the window manually, and all have same result: frozen steam client, frozen game window.

This is a pretty hard issue to figure out as there are so many things that can go wrong. Tomorrow is a big day as there's a new Armoury Crate update coming. Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that it helps on this issue.

I just got my Ally today and have the same issue. I have to manually close the process with Task Manager. I also have to alt-tab to activate the correct window when streaming begins.
