ROG Ally RC71L after latest update all buttons stopped working

After latest update, first the mouse stopped working with keyboard open, then all buttons stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled armory crate SE, I reset windows, I updated all drivers and bios, but still no working buttons.  My warranty ended 2 weeks ago, and I'm leaving on vacation which is the only time I use the ROG Ally. The touchscreen works, but that's it. Does anyone know a way to factory reset the device or something else to try that might restore button functionality. On the update screen it shows everything up to date, but the bios still has an update link, but when I click it, it appears to download but the update link continues to be available as though it didn't work. I leave in a couple days, so any help to get it working will be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I was having a similar issue on my rogg ; Only the left joystick was lighting up and no control buttons were working. Even after a Bios Reset, multiple re-install and ensuring gamepad was enabled, nothing seemed to work.

I noticed that firmware MCU 320 was not updating properly in the Armory crate app. After downloading the dedicated Firmware update software from asus website  '' ROG MCU Firmware Update tool '' my right joystick lit up again and all my controls are back. here is the link to it  ;

Hope this helps, have a nice vacation 🙂
