Greetings all!
I just got my ROG Ally on Sunday and so far it’s been pretty good with the exception of all of the updates that have been required for Windows, the Ally itself, and almost all of the Windows Store apps.
The only real gripe I have so far is related to the X, Y, A, and B buttons. The lettering is very dull and difficult for me to see. They should be much brighter in color or preferably, be backlighted.
Does anyone know if there has been or is a definitive answer to the problems with the microSD card reader? This is a concern and if it hasn’t been resolved, I may return the unit while I still can rather than have to go through service cycles with ASUS.
Finally, my question about the Aura LEDs. When the unit is sleeping, the LEDs around the joysticks flash a couple of times every few seconds. When the unit is sleeping and doing this while resting on the table, it is rather annoying and distracting. Does anyone know of a way to disable the LEDs during sleep? I like them on when playing with the unit, but would like them off when it sleeps.
TIA for any help you can provide.

Hi @BanditoB ,
Regarding the sleep mode lighting effects, you can go to the lighting settings in ACSE and disable the option for sleep mode effects.
Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thanks for the advice! I was able to find the settings for the Sleep mode and disable the Aura lighting. I had looked through the settings before, but didn’t realize that the page was scrollable with more settings at the bottom.
