I was looking forward to playing the PC versions of KH1/2 on the Ally, but I've been hit by crashes frequently.
I can cause KH1 to crash pretty quickly by running in the final rest area and pausing/unpausing, where it'll freeze and eventually crash, mostly returning to desktop but sometimes appears to be a hard crash requiring a hard shut down.
KH2, I can't get through the data Zexion boss as I'll crash either in gameplay, during a cutscene or at the retry screen.
Tried a ton of things like scannow/DISM commands, everything is updated AFAIK.
Looking at event viewer, the faulting module seems to be either the game exe itself, "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\clr.dll" or VCRUNTIME140.dll in the game directory.
I also noticed a system event at thr same time Event 4101 - Display driver amdwddmg stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
Ive not noticed this behaviour in other games.
Fearing if my unit may be faulty or some weird software issue.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
