How to use Fingerprint sensor?

Hi there.  As part of the setup, I registered my fingerprint, which seemed to go well.  However, whenever I reboot/wake from sleep, it doesn't seem to recognise it to log me in.  I can only use the PIN.  Anyone know why this would be?  It seems to be active in account settings, although interestingly the button to "remove" a fingerprint does nothing at all.

It sounds like your Ally did the auto bios update. When mine did the update it completely borked my fingerprint reader.

I had trouble getting back into windows with a pin code.Once I got the pin code reset, I also tried to delete the fingerprint and it did nothing. I did redo my my fingerprint and now it's working as it should be.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that!  I just re-added my fingerprints, and it's now accepting them after I reboot.  Thanks for the help!

Mine does that ****** after every bigger Windows Update. Already had to reset the PIN four times after the Fingerprint is suddenly gone and entering the PIN leads to an Error.
