Command and Conquer Red Alert 3

I can't get this game to run.  The error message seems to think it's a DirectX issue.  Supposedly the newest version of DirectX has all the old files, but apparently when it still misses files from 9.0c, which is needed for Red Alert.

I tried installing DirectX from the file provided in the game folder, as others have said this works, but I still get the same error....

The remastered version of C&C works fine though.

I had the same problem what you want to do is open steam c&c red alert 3 click manage then properties and in the launch option type. -win
