Hi there,
i have an ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme, and i wanted to upgrade my wifi card from the included one to a AX211 from intel, the problem is after further investigation it turns out that the AX211 is CNVio2 and not PCI based like most card, and therefore it won't work, i have contacted the Asus support about this problem and they said that my motherboard do not support CNVio2...
the question is, is there a way to make the motherboard compatible with CNVio2 via bios mod or patch? is the CNVio2 protocol a hardware one or it can be added or later supported by software updates/changes/unlocks?
Thank you for your time guys, i appraciate your help!

No. X299 not support CNVio and CNVio2 WiFi Card. If you want to change WiFi card to WiFi6E please change to ax210.
