You got to be kidding me they sat on this for 4 months, did nothing, then at the end of April then wake up, relabeled 0070 to 1004 and proceeded to post a fake update. R6EE is the flagship it deserves the best series not a 4 months late fake update.

anyway, did someone mod this already with latest everything?

Spoke to soon. there are differences between 0070 and 1004.

the new R6EE 1004 BIOS has reversed to very old CPU uCodes! Look at the dates. seams like 0070 is more up to date. Everything else is the same.

1004 uCodes:

88443

The ucodes are older.

But yes Asus is not even trying.......

Should be Nice to see if the other models have better up to date bios, than this one.

Cheers

Well for some reason all the downloads I download from the ASUS website are corrupt.
The other day I tried downloading the Chipset Driver for 6REE and it was corrupt and now when I try to download that BIOS it is Corrupt.
Doesn't happen on any other website just ASUS's.

I’m not seeing 1003 or 1004 on the download page either. The latest is still 0901.

Found 1004 on the official site. Already flashed and reapplied all BIOS settings. Seems good to go, rebar reported as supported in Precision X1. No appreciable difference in benchmarks, or real-world gaming (but I am also not testing with "supported" titles either).
