The Tj.MAX for AVX512

Hello guys,

CPU: 7940X delided
MB: Rampage VI Extreme - BIOS 1301
OC 4.5G@1.15v manual mode , AVX offset 2 , AVX512 offset 5

Base on Intel Ark, the Tj.max is 102 degree
When I using AIDA64 5.97 FPU Stress test after 5 minute , cpu clock start became unstable, it drop to base clock then go back to 4G.
But the highest core temp is just 90 degrees, there is still a distance from 102 degree
So I wonder to know is there a different tj.max for AVX512?

What you saw is likely the difference between temperatures at different points on the chip. Core temps don't align exactly with FIVR (voltage regulator) temps, but all are monitored by the throttling watchdog.
