Hello fellows

I've got a relatively new build with an Asus x299 strix gaming -e motherboard, Intel I9-7900x, 32G ram, Windows 10 Pro 1909.

I updated the bios to 3006 this afternoon and now when it boots I get 'ITBM Driver Unavailable' error when I login.

I selected Intel Turbo Boost in the Bios but the error still comes up.and if i try to install the itbm software gives me my hardware does qualify to install this

went back to bios 2002 everything is good

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I don’t know about your board, but you might try bios settings under advanced/CPU configuration/CPU Power management configuration. Check for MFC driver override under mode override. Not sure if this will help.

Intel Turbo Boost has been removed (since 3006), that must be why you no longer have it 😉
Sorry for my english 😄

Intel Turbo Boost 3.0 is not Removed but with new BIOS Version is Default Native now and not more Software ( Driver ) sided and you can't Change it anymore.

Start CMD as admin and enter

C:\Windows\system32>sc delete ITBMService

and remove that crap, was never working correctly anyway.

I am running into the same issue after flashing BIOS to 3006 on my ASUS TUF Mark 1 x299 MB. ITBT 3.0 driver error message, I can confirm that part is true. Can you post your source of your information regarding the removal of ITBT 3.0? I have searched all throughout ASUS support and Intel's website with no luck of finding any official statement regarding this. Thanks in advance.

Hey, I have a X299 Tuf Mark 2, but this will probably work for you because they use the same core bios AFAIK.

I tried a bunch of different stuff to get rid of this error while troubleshooting another problem and I could not for the life of me get this error to stop popping up.

Until, I solved my other issue, oddly enough.

https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?116633-New-bios-3006-for-Rampage-VI-Extreme/page5#post8025...

After doing this, disabling the service in windows (Services.msc, then look in the intel section) and deleting the scheduled task in task scheduler, it no longer pops up.

I don't think I can remove it from my PC though, unfortunately, it just keeps telling me to reboot but when I do it's still there. I'll have to work out that next.
