[SOLVED] Wifi adapter no longer reporting drivers?

See the attached image.

I'm seeing an unknown network controller in device manager, and Windows cannot identify any drivers for it. I cannot identify the proper driver on the ASUS website, so I'm here asking if anyone else knows.

The details on the unit are:

Vendor ID: 0x1AE9
Device ID: 0x0310

When I search those values, they appear to be a Wilocity Wil6200 chip? No details at all though, and this device appeared recently so I'm wondering if the firmware for the chip is flaked out? I have reinstalled the wifi drivers available on the ASUS page for this board, but no change.

Currently running Windows 10 FCU, clean install.

t may be a few years too late but i have solved the issue with the missing network controller driver. I have only recently got this board and been searching for a while and even contacted Asus who just asked me to install the wifi driver set from their site. this driver set does not include intel/qualcomm 802.11ad drivers. the correct drivers can be found here https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=PCI%5CVEN_1AE9%26DEV_0310%26SUBSYS_00001AE9 and i have installed them without issue. hope this helps

Hi,

You can find a newer version than the one you link here : [DRIVERS] Qualcomm WiFi/Bluetooth.
