Share pics of your Rampage VI Extreme rig in this thread please. Hands down the best looking board we've ever made, so I'm eager to see how you guys are making use of it.

So I'm not sure if this thread accepts Omega builds too. But I ditched the standard extreme. I like the look and 4 x nvme drives. Plus with the robust vrm cooling I could go with a separate ek velocity waterblock. I decided to redo all interior acrylic panels, re-sleeve cables and change the layout of cooling runs. I believe this looks so much better!

Your bottom GPU will not be cooled with this loop. Top one is alright. If you fix it the build is nice.

Hi all, I just downloaded latest BIOS FW update for my Rampage VI Extreme, there is file "ROG-RAMPAGE-VI-EXTREME-ASUS-1704", can I put it on my USB Flash drive and update it from my BIOS or do I need to "rename" it first, whatever that means..? Tnx!

Have to tidy up some cables to finish build. It is an awesome looking and awesome performing board BUT the cold start issue is driving me nuts. I have until Monday March 9 to return board and I may. The so called tech support is horrible. I first called about issue on Feb 4 and no one got back to me. I called again today, wasted an hour on phone, got very upset and then someone from Asus finally called back. People who spend $750 on a board deserve better support than that.

The Prime 30th Anniversary board I tried before this one had same cold start issue.

Other than that this board is crazy good but this one flaw so far kills it.

Are you sure that all the switch buttons are in the default position? If the LN2 jumper mode is set by default (disabled), will activating it not solve your problem at startup?

That was exactly my issue! I enabled LN2 and it boots up fine after that. When I was building and benchmarking I had my window open with window exhaust fan and my computer by it. I guess it was cold enough to trip the sensor. LOL

I wish I had figured it out before I returned the Prime 30th board. Had same issue...

That's too bad. I was a "high up" for Xidax's origin company for several years. You paid probably paid triple to what it would have cost to build it yourself. Enjoy that "lifetime" warranty though.
