For R6EE it was design to support Cascadelake X more than our Skylake X SKUs mate.

The Cascadelake X provide 48 Lane PCIe 3.0 (4 lane more than our Skylake X SKUs).
So the manual said DIMM.2 can be use direct CPU lane for Cascadelake X SKUs.

But for skylake i9 7920x only 1 slot on the motherboard will have cpu lane right?

Where did you find this in asus rampage vi extreme omega manual?

I'm now running the same confing on omega but have some issue with aida 64 engineer version see here

On my older r6e did not have the full version of aida 64 so did not know the write bandwidth

I'm running the latest bios 3105 did already reset bios, load optimize defaults ,the ram is the slots that the asus manual, but the write speed to slow
I did also xmp non xmp . but the write speed .....
Maybe there is a bug with aida 64 others test for ram bandwidth?
Is there something to concern ?
