I have downloaded the new ME update tool from Asus but whenever I run it ,as in right click and "run as administrator" the MEUpdateTool.exe I get a flash for a second then a window comes up and says "Warning Please check MEI driver is installed." After I do this nothing seems to be updated when I check with the Intel-SA-00086-GUI.exe tool.It still shows Intel Management Engine to be version 11.11.50.1436.I have also tried running the ME update tool in Windows 10 X64 safe mode but still nothing changed. What am I doing wrong?

I appreciate your trying to help me out ExcessiveGBH.I tried this both before and after updating to bios 1401 from 1301 and got an error.log file that says "Error 8716: Invalid usage." I am using the Apex board so maybe that is the issue I am having going to 11.11.50.1466 from 11.11.50.1436.

Not sure what's going on there, as that link has a bat file to start CMD automatically with the required string for installation.
It's the same process if you did manually.

I can post how to do it manually but busy at work for next 2 days. In the mean time try searching on this forum as l have seen posts on this for manual install using CMD.
