Hi,

There is no UEFI BIOS update yet for X299 chipset-based motherboards.

By cons there is an independent update released on 2018/06/01 of the ME firmware (11.11.50.1466) :

ROG STRIX X299-E GAMING : https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-X299-E-GAMING/HelpDesk_BIOS

ROG RAMPAGE VI EXTREME : https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-RAMPAGE-VI-EXTREME/HelpDesk_BIOS

That's why there will be no new BIOS UEFI update for X299 chipset.

Yes, there is a new BIOS 1401 for X299. Look under Windows 8 64 Bit or Windows 7 64 Bit it is hidden there. It is the same BIOS for all the operating systems. I already have 1401 for Prime X-299A.

Keep checking. I bet it pops up in the next few days.

Seems to be working fine here. Boots faster too.

I had already updated the ME as well, so I can't comment on whether that was updated in this release. Microcode appears to be the same as before.

This is not with optimized defaults. Don't have a baseline for this test.
