Currently showing under Windows 10 32 bit and a couple other OSs but not all.

ROG RAMPAGE VI EXTREME BIOS 1401
Improved DRAM compatibility.
Improved system stability and performance.
Updated ME firmware.

Thank you Master tistou77, I’d already included both on my latest modded BIOS. Working perfectly with Windows Insider 17713.1000 Red Stone 5 Release Candidate. 16.5.0.3492 OROM and EFI provided minimal latency on disk access both SATA/RAID/NVME SSDand support Optane Accelerator 2.0. Better than ASUS used 15.7.0.3054 on original 1401 BIOS.



We need only add “99” my lucky number in CPU Core Max Temperature to keep TJ Max @104 degree Celsius. With the lucky number there , 7980XE idle state Core temp and load on 0200004D microcode *will on par with 02000043 and 02000049 microcode.

Windows Insider Preview 17713.1000 build used 02000049 microcode without Tj Max and idle temperature problem.
However It was noticable performance drop around 2-8% for i9 7980XE compared with 0200004D microcode.

At moment I've heard Intel going to release new microcode to replace 0200004D microcode soon.
According to many media here .

Now 0200004D microcode only address Intel SA-00115 vulnerable issue and we'd SA-00145 (Lazy FP) , SA-00157/158/159 waiting
for fixing by new microcode. These vulnerable caused Intel to shift away Cascadelake X/Cannonlake X to 2020. For my opinion, we'll
travelling along road with microcode patched. We starting with 0200002B------->0200004D maybe on the EOL of i9 7980XE Intel
let us with 0200009E (guestimated) microcode :cool:

Latest from my friend @intel malaysia ( i9 7980XE manufacturing plant for the CPU) . Intel will release something on August 2018.
New lines CPU and new microcode patch, we must enjoy with Sonix, Fernaldo and Plutomaniac on their new UBUTools soon, Master 😮

Sorry for the delay. I think there is only one download available on this thread. It was for a modified BIOS 1401 with the 4D microcode. Thanks for the help.

Sorry Master tistou77, I’ve heard they’re trying on Beta BIOS , now they’re working with 0200004D microcode with Optimized
performance same as other vendors including ASUS next BIOS ( 1501 BIOS maybe release around mid August 2018 *my*
guesstimate*from older BIOS )*

Intel may release next microcode to address SA-00145/157/158/159 issues following soon.*

However for easier way we should use microcode data base files distributed by Sonix/Fernaldo/Plutomaniac.:o
