Would be great to get a fully optimized and uCode updated BIOS from ASUS directly.

The x299 rampage platform with our 7980XE and 10980XE are still amazing and competitive

for the x299 strix gaming e motherboard seriously might be something wrong with BIOS 4001 fresh install of Windows 11 no longer install in UEFI mode after installing complete Windows is UEFI mode maybe it is supposed to be that way of new security?

Asus Rampage VI Extreme / Intel I9-7940X / Corsair H115i Pro / CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (4 x 8GB) 3000MHz / EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 ELITE GAMING BLACK Edition / 2x Samsung 970 Pro NMVe 1GB / 4x Samsung 850 PRO - 2TB / Asus ROG Swift PG348Q / Corsair AX 1500i / Thermaltake View 71 RGB PC Case /Win 10 PRO x64

I have a X299 Rampage Extreme Omega with an 9990XE and 4x16GB Ram, its really difficult to install Windows 11 in UEFI, it didnt work, also CSM Only didn work, Bios 3701 ist more bader then the new one, i try it for hours, later if Windows 11 didnt work i try Windows 10  original stick in the package with UEFI Mode, it also didn work, a lot of times if it dindn work the vrm fans go to maximum speed, windows 10 work but only with CSM Mode and TPM off, if is a network cable in it will crash after few minutes in installation process, dont put it in if windows 10 says "connect to network" only later on desktop

also switch off the onboard wlan and bluetooth during installation

i try it over hours and a lot of crash pictures show up, on says "security error"

The only way that work for me is to create an windows 11 stick with rufus, the one bios option to "other OS" and CSM to "auto" after that a can reach the installtion menue, befor not and with 3701 also no chance for me, after that a 2nd problem the hard disk menue shows nothing, you should create an extra usb stick with the IRST Driver on it, but a restart a 2nd time and now it works (i change nothing and i dont unterstand why it now works)

also the windows 10 stick out from the package can only handle 2Tb as a maximum

with my new 4090 during the installation process its a way bader than with my old 2080ti, i dont understand why, a lot of times i have no picture and vrm fans to the maximum, than installation process is in a loop

some sites in the internet says maybee it helps if you change the port from display port to hdmi, but i think it didnt help, the 9990XE (14cores) didnt have a i-cpu and mainboard also didnt have a monitor port...

@asus you should update your CPU List and add the 9990XE to your list ^^

Wow! You're the Marvelous 💗

Only lucky guy on this planet got Core i9 9990XE. Are you from Puget's system shop Thailand?

First BIOS 4001 was released to solve " LogoFail " vulnerability. It was not impact on performance side or compatibility issues like previously BIOS that protected from " Down Fall " Vulnerability.

On your configuration that you've told us.

1. After update latest BIOS please hit F1 key then re settings your preferred values again or loading your profile again.

2. W11 is required TPM 2.0 always your Windows 11 session. Hence enable TPM 2.0 by default and settings it mode to "PTT Aware" .

3. On RTX 4090 installation you'll need bigger case to support GPU length itself and PSU 600watt PWR cable from PSU manufacturer is the best way to avoid melting contacts ( I used Corsair cable for old school Corsair AX1200i working very well and didn't have compatibility problems with R6E like the screen shot above ✌️😁✌️

On your system Enables Re-sizing Bar you'll enjoy 32GB side band buffering support your RTX 4090. Overall your 4090 will archive 56GB maximum capacity frame buffer for fun. Enjoy your rigs mate✌️😁✌️

i buy my 9990XE at the Caseking Store from Germany

i am personally thinking the 10990XE never exists, there is nothing to buy...

Please hit F2 check your BIOS settings again

Enter Advance menu then PCH Configuration menu search for TPM 2.0 menu choose "PTT Aware" then hit F10 Save Settings and Exit.

It's will be ok.✌️😁✌️
