ASUS motherboards Windows 11 support BIOS had turn on TPM 2.0 by default.

Hi,
That's not what I asked obviously the bios update adds and enables it lol

I asked if there was a way to turn it off

And it appears that the answer is no you can not turn tpm off

Because asus did not add a tpm port on x299 boards "or at least not my apex" so yeah no way to switch tpm off or to the mother board port it does not exist.

But fun fact my x99 board has a tpm port so yeah asus and microsoft are really on the same page

Asus is ready to dump tpm and ms wants to finally use it lol

I've got a question. I just updated my ASUS Rampage Extreme IV Omega MB's BIOS to 3501 and looking in there, TPM 2.0 is active and PP 1.3 is present. But when I go into Windows Update, it still claims my system is not ready for Windows 11. Is there something else needed? I've got an older laptop that I enabled TPM 2.0 in the BIOS and that nag went away.

Did you choose FW Configuration menu to grant PTT Aware yet ?

My BIOS does not have an FW configuration menu. Everything is under the Security menu. The entries claim TPMS 2.0 is enabled and PTT 1.3 is also enabled and there are no other items that seem to be able to be set according to your suggestion. As it is, I should have just had a little patience and waited. Microsoft was apparently slow in picking up the fact that my system BIOS changed and is now ready for Windows 11, so the old nag warning is now gone as of today. Thank you for at least answering my post. By the way, are you happy with Windows 11 so far as it appears you are testing it from your signature?
