Ignore theme its asus bot , they say all good when all people hv problems . All words happy for them only they dont hv any problem

but all hv problems , i was search at oc.net , at oc.ru , all me says do not use this bugged trash named omega or encore . I even write to asus support when i start push them about bug , they start close tikets with no aswer.

remember samsung bug with firmware , situation was them same at 960 pro and evo ssd , before all tied with RMA and the same bug's , they start work to fix this , but now that thread no avaliable and this remember only people who update to that firmware , or explosive smartphones )))

There to was unique people what was say all good all work they dont hv any problems at firmware and to was closing support tickets .

if not push asia companyes they start make trash , and then after mass push start make all normal like punished kid after they do some bad things.

they even cannot fix forum very very long time. Bug 502 or Attachments white menu

X299 going to be EOL Q2 2020, thus they’ve playing jokers card for you.

No one dare to comment about OMG and EC quality here. Or not they’ll get BANNED like me.

Going to your mobo shop then exchange OMG edition to original one or money back is the way that I recommended.
Or you may risk to get BANNED like me in the past.

If you re consider the OMG edition about how many PCIe slot and what kind of WIFI bandwidth it did compare to my original one.

I dont think Asus if happy for all RMA of this boards, and its not hardware failure its UEFI bug and i think its not hard to fix it , them just lazy and no mater even if they lose money :confused:

i am realy hope they will fix it , if remember samsung and problem at firmware at 960pro , they to was say first make RMA and all good with firmware. But they make fix when it start be very very hot. I to was write at samsung forum like now there , even was got banned but soon unbanned)

If u own an Omega, doesn't make sense to go back to first Rampage, with the same OC problems (RTL's and IOL's can't be forced as in Omega) and less capable with 8+4pin vs 8+8pin or 8phases vs 16phases.

Obviously if u own the first Rampage it wouldn't be worth it going to Omega, depending on the overclock u are going to apply. But once u are with Omega/Encore, going back is a total nonsense...

Your rig has a 7980xe and 64GB of a specific G.Skill kit with probably B-Die modules, plus u don't push high frequencies. Every rig is a different world.

I can say the same when talking about MY RIG, 3800CL15, 4.8GHz AVX stable, and Omega board...

For info, the latest Encore bios already has the latest modules up to date (even the microcode for Cascade Lake-X)
Asus did a good job for this bios
