Hi SirWaWa,

Absolutely that is OK.

For your information, that Intel ME firmware version is 2 releases behind the current version 11.12.92.2222 for the X299 chipset. Asus hasn't made that version available and likely won't for this older chipset. Thus I would class this update as optional.

Several users on this forum including me have updated to this version without any issues. Please feel free to update to this version if you wish.

The above linked to thread contains a recent changelog on page 4 for the Intel ME showing further security updates have been added in those updates. I'm unsure of the changes in 11.12.92.2222, but its likely to be a security update too.
