Load VGA bios error

Hardware in my signature. I have seen this error twice now. Boots OK until right before it gets to windows and then sticks with "Load VGA bios". The Q code appears to be AD. Any ideas? Things work fine otherwise and I had the same error once with the same video card on a totally different machine using my Asus R6E with different memory. The OC on this current machine and the old one are quite stable. Never saw this error with the prior video card in the old machine. Thanks.

A couple thoughts, although you might have already tried. Ensure your onboard graphics are disabled in BIOS, and reseat the card once or twice, ensuring that the slot tab clicks into place after seating.

I'll try that, but others are reporting the same thing especially with SLI setups.
