Int8bldr
Level 11

Assuming this is the "Downfall" BIOS and ME updates we've seen at R6E a few weeks ago. I have not tested this yet.

Just released on the Asus site: ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore | Motherboards | ROG Global (asus.com)

BIOS :    1601      2023/09/14

"1. Recommended for vital update to mitigate the potential security vulnerabilities.
2. Improve system stability
“Before BIOS update, please download Intel ME update tool from ASUS support site, and update ME firmware to Version 11.12.94.2479 to ensure optimized system settings.”

MEUpdateTool:    Version 11.12.94.2479    2023/09/08

Intel has identified security issue that could potentially place impacted platform at risk.
Use ME Update tool to update your ME.
*We suggest you update ME Driver to the latest Version 11.12.94.2479 simultaneously.
Please download the file and check the MD5 code first.

I updates the ME driver and flashed in the BIOS 1601, but now cannot boot.  I get a FB error code with a “Detect HDD” message.  I reverted back to BIOS 1403, but still getting the same result.  Can’t boot from a Win 11 USB drive & can’t get the BIOS/UEFI menu to display…

Any suggestions?

Try switching to the second bios using onboard button.
