Well I've had this same old Corsair AX1500i PSU with this R6E system and also the same PSU when I had W-3175X + Asus Dominus Extreme setup. The latter didn't have any issue with this PSU pulling 600-700W with the CPU overclock. 🙂 I suspect it's the board, but you maybe right that maybe some have had better results with their boards. I don't have this shutdown issue on my Rampage VI Encore board. Just saying PSU swap alone might or might not help.

Look like you've facing CPU degradation issue.
Heat and high voltage ⚡ used 24/7/365 bring your 7960X hard to go.
Choose F5 Load Optimized default once running CPU diagnostic tool from Intel
Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool below
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15951/intel-processor-diagnostic-tool.html
If it say all test " PASS " with green. Maybe you have to cleaning the motherboard with blower and kindling dry brush 🖌️ overall R6E.

I think you are right about the PSU. The thing that has failed on me the most is the PSU. MBs never really fail if you do not go extreme OC or handle them badly (like static electricity). MBs do not just to suddenly bad. same with CPUs. you need to have OC with extreme temps, extreme voltages and currents to make them fail the way you describe it.
Whenever I run into issues like the one you are describing, I always try with a different PSU to see if that resolves it.
Quality 1300 - 1500+ W PSU is needed for quality OC, especially if you have a high-end GPU, like 4090 or 5090.
My go to PSU used to be Corsair AX1600i (which is still today only ATX12V 2.4) - it's a beast. But buying new today, I would go with an ATX 3.1 1300+ W Platinum or Titanium rated PSU.

Yeah and thanks for answer that!!!!!!i think 100% is PSU the cpu is delidded and i have very low temps and the PSU not have good amps or something and open the OCP protect

With the Rampage VI Extreme my 7980XE can't pull much more than ~400W constantly. In case I go too far with the overclock/voltage it just shuts down as well. I think Rampage VI Apex, Rampage VI Omega and Rampage VI Encore are better suited for higher overclocks with 8+8 pin for the CPU.
But my R6E has been working great since 2017 and I am still running it on my main rig. VRM is water cooled.

i see to many with RAMPAGE EXTREME regular pull more than 400watts!!like jay2cents video with 7980xe 1.35volt without shutdown-maybe need old bios?
