Fight with my 7900X

Hello guys,

I bite my nails because my delided 7900x r is probably hopeless. I can't stabilize at 4.8 GHZ with offset +0.115....
My settings are in attached images. When I test it in the RealBench, temperatures come to 105C....and my processor is unstable in the game World Of Tanks.

With 4.5 GHZ my CPU is fine, temperatures are below 60C and CoreTemp shows the voltage ~1.2 with -0.080 offset.

What am I doing wrong?

P.S. I have LC with custom loop.

I am not the expert here but a 4.8 OC on the 7900 is not a sure thing. It could be simply the silicon lottery. There are a number of settings to that could be tweaked but I will let others chime in about those. Was this a chip you bought from Silicon Lottery with a 4.8 OC or one you did yourself? My everyday OC on my 7900x is 4.5 on an AIO. My temps when stressed get up there but for regular day to day usage/gaming it they are great and do not get very warm.

It looks like you have a low CPU cache voltage. Did you try upping that?

what cooling do you use for 7900x ?

Here's my bit of advice:

Firstly, better set PCH Core to 1.05V~1.0875. I am at 1.075V, which makes the X299/PCH fully stable...

Cache voltage looks okay to me, I am getting away with 1.04V at 32x.

As for the core clock and voltages: To harness heat you have to keep voltages for the cores DYNAMIC and enable SVID to allow the CPU to reduce voltage when running AVX/AVX 512 loads. Effectively on 3700 for AVX you should see ~1.02V on the cores.

If you're NOT on a custom water loop, but an AIO like my H100i v2, reduce AVX offset so you get about 3500-3700 Mhz. For AVX512 I'd use 3000-3200 for a start.

Hope that helps

I am running my unlidded 7900X at 4.8GHz at 1.255v and with max temps below 80 on any one core. The only thing I have different from you is I have Short and Long Duration Package Power set to 4095. Apart from this I have only set LLC to 6, and Cache Voltage to 1.1, everything else is stock. I am running a custom loop with two 480 rads and dual pumps cooling just the CPU.
