BUS speed increase and USB 3.1 Gen 2 disabling.

Have noticed if you increase the BUS speed to 100.4 or above the USB 3.1 GEN 2 disables and is only USB 2 compliant.
Is this by design or a bug?

Can you be more specific ? what do you mean by BUS speed to 100.4 ?

Change this setting in BIOS or in Al suit 3. e.g. 103.00. (can cause stability issues) . Slightly increases OC including RAM.
Just curious why USB 3.1 GEN 2 disables and is only USB 2.

i don't oc at all do need to...i need stability 24/7 so for me oc this is useless

I'm not discussing OC’ing here nor would I do it this way. It was about USB 3.1

It throws the critical timing for 3.1 far enough off to render it unusable with 3.1 devices while the lower, slower 2.0 can still function.

ASmedia 3142 Chipset may incompatibility with those setting.
