Hello,

i hope someone can help or knows a fix of this.

I have i9 7960x + Rampage Vi Extreme + 2x DOMINATOR® PLATINUM Special Edition CONTRAST 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3466 (PC4-27700)

When i use set the Mhz to 3466 in the Bios. I get by playing games or use photoshop a Bluescreen Whea Uncorrectable Error . Set the Mhz to 3200Mhz, there is no Issue, no Bluescreen or something else.

I test als another Rampage Vi Extreme, another CPU there are also the Issue. Bios is at same boards 1301

The Timings are 16-18-18-36

Thanks

He also needs to test the memory too to make sure there’s not a defective module. Is it seated correctly?

As stated, any instability at optimised defaults likely points to either defective or ill seated modules or CPU.

Thankyou to all, who answer for my question, and yours adviсes!
I dont know why, but "optimized default" is not work correctly with my CPU (7920). May be my im not happy with this CPU, may be this is delid error, i dont know.
After im turn off "ASUS multicore enhacement" option in BIOS, my life became a little better ). I did not do a lot of tests - but i dont need change any other BIOS option for activate XMP profile.

It could be the IMC on the chip too which simply can't handle those speeds.

I've got 3600CL15 RAM and got it running at 3600CL15 by selecting the 4000MHz profile in the BIOS and then adjusting the speed and primary timings manually to its default, 3600MHz 15-15-15-35. I've git B-die chips on mine and the overclock is intended for B-die chips so your mileage may vary if you have RAM from Corsair, or even G-skill without B-die chips.
