Hello,

I seem to be having an issue when booting up my computer from a shutdown state.

When the computer is in it’s shutdown state and then powered on, the computer will boot, POST and then start to load into Windows 10 when all of a sudden the display will lose signal but the computer will still be running. When I force shutdown and turn it on again it will boot into Windows 10 fine. (Please see attached video showing the issue.)

Please note: Nothing is overclocked everything is running a stock. BIOS Version 1603

Things that I have troubleshooted:

  • Updated/Downgraded BIOS (New:1603 Old:1503)
  • Clear CMOS
  • Unplug/Plug Graphics Cards, Memory, SSD (M.2)
  • Updated/Downgraded Graphic Card Drivers
  • Clean Install of Windows 10 Pro
  • Used different display ports on the graphic card/ switched them around too.
  • Windows updated all installed
  • ASUS Drivers all installed

If anyone is able help or suggest anything that I have missed that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Wonder if gpt disk format would do better with efi and said driver 😕
Don't look like gpt format shouldn't the efi partition be fat32 ?

I have same issue but unlike this friend i even dont get post until i shut the system down completely and then boot for the second time.

My setup:

- R6E Board
- intel 7900x cpu
- Asus Rog Strix 1080 TI OC GPU
- 8x8 GB G.SKILL TRIDENT Z 3600 MHZ Ram
- 2x Samsung 960 PRO + 6 TB Segate Barracuda HDD
- Corsair AX1600i PSU
- Sound BlasterX AE-5 Sound Card

2 Samsung NVME drives in PCH Raid 0 mode. (One drive in expansion card the other one on motherboard) So naturally i cant install samsung nvme drivers since its raid, i install intel drivers.

Any idea?
