Aquantia 10Gbe fix by disabling one advanced setting on the chip thru device manager!

I was having issues with copying files down to my pc and with Hyper-V client internet downloads basically the speeds were close to 0.

I disabled the "Recv Segment Coalescing (IPv4)" and problem fixed.

Just go to device manager, right click the "Aquantia AQtion 10Gbit Network Adapter" network device under "Network Adapters", select "Properties", and go to the "Advanced" tab.

This is on Windows 10 Feature 1809. I had some weird issues on 1803 too I assume this would have fixed those too.

If you run Hyper-V VMs do not create a virtual switch use the default switch. Although a virtual switch works it significantly slows down the network speeds down more than 1/2. Using the default switch gives you full speed/throughput. This affects the host and client even if your client isn't running.

Just thought I would post this out there for anyone having issues like me. One guy posted a while back he was dropping packets.

Also I upgraded to the latest driver you can get it here:
https://www.aquantia.com/support/driver-download/

pick AQC107 from the part number drop down to get the right driver

Use the 64 bit installer here in the zip:
Aquantia_AQtion_Windows_2.1.12\Aquantia_AQtion_x64_Win_ver_2.1.12\Windows Installer

unless you installed windows 32 bit then use the 32 bit installer

i have rampage 6 EE with AQC-107 10GBE NIC, and after some firmware updates it changed namt to Marvell 10GBE blah blah...

I have 4.2.29 firmware now and 2.2.1.0 driver

mostly i have problems while i try to install games by gog or steam, so i guess its the buffering problems.

And i have no idea how to fix it anymore. Cus some ppl fixed this by updateing firmware and using lower drivers. i tried a bit with no luck so far.

😞

Edit: connection dont just slow or stop, it'a an info about lost connection as in cable was unpluged. Simple turning NIC off and on again fix it.

The newest firmware is 3.1.121a and drivers are 3.1.6

I am on a R6E and I am noticing dropping when I first boot up the system I seem to be having a problem with the marvel updater utility

Hi so I updated and the device manager is saying my marvel card is on version 3.1.6

However when I run the Marvell AQtion firmware updater utility it says 1.5.58 update status not available.

I have a ASUS MAXIUS XII FORMULA BOARD, I play Iracing. For last 2 months I been getting blue screen of death, ostly during a period loading in to games.I had no help from microsoft, so took me forever to figure out issue. I have the 2801 BIOS for the board, I have the marvell 10G ethernet card and was using driver 3.1.3.0. I have windows 11. y fix was to uninstall the driver 3.1.3.0, and I went to marvells support https://www.marvell.com/support/downloads.html#
at that link, and downloaded driver 3.1.8.0
https://www.marvell.com/content/dam/marvell/en/drivers/Marvell%20AQtion_Win10-11_3.1.8.zip
at this link. Under advanced properties I Changed one setting to disabled from stock.
Recv Segent Coalescing (Pv4)= disabled
Don't know what it does, but seen that in ASUS forum. THIS FIX WORKED FOR ME, GOOD LUCK, HOPE IT HELPS SOMEONE.
