Got an ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING that I thougth would be a nice mainboard to build a new gaming PC on. Got a ROG STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING graphic card that works fine with my old Sabertooth P67 installed on the new mainboard and it is laggy and uselsess as a gaming PC right now.

I have tried all the software that I can find to help me set the BIOS right. But nothing helps me to get it running smooth and be fun playing games at. Some of the softvare says that it can't run on my verion of W10 thogh I try to install the propper software from ASUS for W10 64 bits, as that is the OS I am useing. I have tried reinstalling W10 three times, made shure I got all uppdates and even ran all the repair tools I schould find for W10. Is this a know issue?

Now I got all the settings back to default and it is not even a good PC for surfing. So I hope some one here can help me to get it running and too restore my lost faith in ASUS some how.

Is there some way I should set BIOS up to work with my current set up of this gear.

Main board: ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING

Graphic card: ROG STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mh (2x8 gig)

CPU: Intel i5-7600k

HDD 1: Corsair Force LE200 SSD

HDD 2: Intel SSD SC2KDW 480 H6

Or should I just try to get a new ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING from the store that I bought it from?

I bought a new OS to use at this PC build. So it is a fresh copy. Bought W10 on an USB stick. Om my P67 build I only got a OEM version.

Have you tried clearing your CMOS? And can you please explain the lag that you're experiencing more in detail?

The lag I get is low FPS in games. Loads of audio jiter. The PC is slow when just surfing it takes "long" times just load a web page.

The CMOS is cleard by setting the jumpers huh? Or is there another trick too it?

Yes I have tried that too.

Oh I had not done that, as it turns out. Haha!

I had mistaken the CPU-OC jumper for the CLRTC jumper. So thank you for posting that image.

It got better now, but it still isn't good. Think I will manage from now on though. So thanks again!
