I am using FX502VMZ, the latest version of window break the keyboard and probably other drivers as well.
Basic steps I took to fix the issue:
1) Reinstall the driver for keyboard (Didn't work at all)
2) Uninstalling the driver for keyboard, it works after restarting but no sound at all.
3) Just rollback to the previous version of window and it was fixed.
I hope ASUS will fix this issue, it will be problematic as the older system might not get an update for drivers. So doing a clean install of windows might end up having a broken driver and thus not working at all.
Yeah, I have had the same problem with it killing off my ASUS Strix Raid DLX 7.1 and had to roll back. Contacted ASUS and gave them a breakdown of the issue and logs and they just kept repeating back at me reinstall the drivers... I gave up and been dreading this day when they force the 1809 update.
With 1809 it doesn't even detect the card being plugged in to the slot. I tried removing it and putting it back in and it makes no difference. Drivers say it can't find a card regardless (and the drivers haven't been updated since 2017 and firmware since 2016)
So if I can't roll back I have no sound (ASUS motherboard and on-board sound has never worked properly, crackles and pops), but I used the water cooling built in to the board as part of a custom loop and I don't want to go without a motherboard for weeks sending it to another state while they decide if they want to RMA it.
