My motherboard is a Crosshair VI Extreme. I have a Wraith Max CPU cooler. And three 140mm RGB fans from Thermaltake. All of these are compatible with Asus Aura Sync. However, I literally cannot even find the Aura Sync software anywhere anymore. It's not listed on the support page for my mobo. I should be able to control all of this from the BIOS. But if there is software I'd like to try it out.
I forgot I also have the Asus Aura Halo device. Which is a strip of LED lights that are taped onto the back of my monitor and change colors based on the display. However, the Halo software hasn't been updated in two years.

For your fans, I believe you just plug the RGB plug into the proper (3 vs 4 pin) header, then they are controlled through what ever flavor of aura software that you choose to use. From my experiences I'd say run crate. Once in crate, I can control the RGB headers on the motherboard. I don't think theres a way to control the RGB lighting in the bios, to my knowledge we can only change that through software.
Not sure about the halo/terminal(i think they are the same), I have a terminal but haven't plugged it in yet. Not sure if it will play with armory and I'm extremely hesitant about installing any more aura control software now that I finally have it working as well as I do. If it doesn't work with armory, I'm gonna sell it or stick in a box hoping for an update.
