Hi prescient

if you should upgrade or not really depend on what you want to do. Buying OC equipment is like tuning a car.. it never ends. If you are getting 4.5 or 4.6 GHz out of you machine with the cooling system you have and the CPU does not run too hot (would not mind the fans going up and down in RPMs the heat really change instantly in the CPU) then you are quite ok.

Thus if your aim is to run games at good speed your setup is good. For everyday use the advantage you might get on a bench with optimum tweaks on the system to get maximum out is not really relevant for the normal day to day use. I OC my machine to 4.9 - 5Ghz with a 4790k for 5- 10 minutes at a time but for every day use I am normally back down to 4.5- 4.7 to ensure the machine actually can last a while and that is on the 4790k. On the 4770K with delidded CPU and custom loop I can keep the setup running all day long on 4.6Ghz. Though when I run Realbench it will still crash every single time at 4.6 Ghz.Meanwhile it has never crashed on the same speed for my 3D CADD programmes nor my games or programs that require heavy CPU load.

If you though are interested in going serious OCing then surely a custom loop will give you much more fun in tweaking but also more headaches when it get addictive 😉

you dont seem do get it .
the cooler dose not stand at extreme option , and they try to manipulate the reason . at 1000 rpm the heat will go 90c+ on 1.335 cpuv
while they sold me the cooler not as it was advertized competing with corsair and cooler master .
they just come and say well ok it dosnt work because and because . dose the other coolers do the same ?
i attacked them back at their forum i just dunno what to do . if i let it the fans will go up and down and get get ruined
and the cpu temp will go out of control . i dont even know what are you talking about

the fluid reached 40c today after that error happened again at extreme .
i dont know if that ok for the pump .
or even if its gonna $Hit down below 1000 and do me all together . fuk this cooler
go get the corsair h110 brothers those guys knows what they are doing

avoid this cooler at any cost the driver gets the fan stuck at 1000 rpm
do u think my cpu is ok running at 90c for 30 min ?

the cooler is working good on custom stable cpu temp at 80c with real bench and under 64c on games and 3d mark 11
i am thinking of keeping it .
