There's a bug with vBulletin that our programmers are still trying to resolve.

I'll follow up on this issue again with them and see if we can get a timeline on when this issue can be fixed.

EDIT:
Sorry, I probably read it wrong but the thread subscription only works when someone has replied to the thread. Can you clarify which notification isn't working properly for you?

To clarify, I am testing e-mail notification of private messages, which is why I asked for a private message above.

Test result: Failure - private message received but no e-mail notification received.
