SPECTRE and MELTDOWN: Bug rocks Intel / ARM CPUs

Kinda glad I bought AMD this round. For those who don't know there is a new bug affecting just about every SKU from Intel made in the last .. ohh.. _DECADE_ or so. It's actually worse then F00F or FDIV. Only mitigation appears to castrate the CPU upward of 30%! (depending on processes).

Can Asus confirm AMD and more importantly for me, this or any AMD motherboard are not affected? If so, will there be RMAs?

Fun fact, Intel's CEO dumped stock back in November before they started issuing gags on people from even talking about it.

Okay, so Maximus IX Apex needs UEFI Firmware 1203, but its not available for download? I can only see a 1101 BETA on the support site?

And I guess my fiancees Asus Rampage IV Extreme with Intel Core i7-3960X and my server with Asus P8B-E/4L and Intel Xeon E3-1275v2 is all out of luck?! The IV Extreme I can mod myself if I can get hand on the microcode, or hopefully someone else can provide me with a modified UEFI Firmware for it as it has BIOS Flashback which ignores verification. But my P8B-E/4L on the other hand is pretty much impossible to get loaded with modified UEFI Firmware.....

EDIT:

It also seems like the current Maximus X Apex UEFI Firmware v1003 already contains the microcode update? Why isn't it mentioned in the change-log?

Most UEFI updates will be published 9 or 10 January 2018.
Today Firmware passes validation stage before published for consumers.

Doesn't matter much which hardware or software you run. Essentially if you have a computer of some sort might as well check for this issue.
I'd like to deploy my troops in her country.

Will notebooks (in my case, a G750JM) receive updates, or are we on our own?

My laptop, a G752VS, is not listed either.
Will support be included?

Do we have any chance to obtain updated firmware for Ivy Bridge MB's? I understand, that the answer also depends on the availability of Intel microcodes, which are still unofficial even for mentioned by you CPU's, but may be you can give us a hope?

Thank you in advance.

Dear.
Intel officialy do not answer for my question for availability new uCodes for Sandy/Ivy Bridge
processors (last available public version 2013 year(integrated in Windows 10 by default) ).
On current version uCodes for Sandy/Ivy Bridge active only VA Shadowing protection without HW support PCID (add more performance penalty).
