Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was hoping to clear something up.
I have a Z170 mark 1 sabertooth mobo and would like to add an intel 750 over pcie.
currently I have the m.2 slot occupied and 2 other drives connected over SATA.
While skylake only supports 16pcie lanes, to my knowledge this mobo could send the proposed intel 750 (which connects via PCIE) to the z170 chipset and then DMI, thus, not limiting my graphics card connected in PCIE-16.
So, in summary and to double check with you guys, can I connect an Intel 750 via PCIE (while also making use of the built in m.2 slot) and not compromise the GPUs 16 lanes of access?
